We control over 755 acres of land by means of a long term Promotional Agreement.

We promoted the site as a possible growth location through the recent East of England Regional Strategy process. This achieved a degree of success and we are continuing to promote the land via the Councilís Local Development Framework.

The Local Plan Inspector found the plan to be unsound as it did not contain sufficient housing. Also there were doubts related to highway capacity around Elsenham. The Council has withdrawn the Local Plan and has commenced preparation of a new one. We will engage with this process.

Unfortunately our appeal for the 800 house scheme was dismissed by the Secretary of State.

We are preparing an outline application for 350 units with the intention of submitting this in mid-2017. Further, we are fully engaging with the ongoing Local Plan process.
